| Born in Zababdeh (Palestine)
in 1965, studied at the latin school of the village, then in 1977 at the
Latin Seminary of Beit Jala. Ordained priest for the Latin Patrarcate of
Jerusalem on June 22, 1990, served for two years in the Parish of North
Zarka and three years at Christ the King Church in Misdar-Amman (Jordan);
then taught for one year at the Seminary.
He is studying philosophy at the Lateran University in Rome since 1996. His thesis for the Masters degree was about "Relation between reason and religion in Ibn Thufyl's Hayy ben Yaqdhan". He is presently preparing his dotorate thesis about "Violence and non-violence in the Islamic thought and practice". He is living now in Jerusalem and he is actually the Chancellor of the Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem and the personal secretary of His Beatitude Patriarch Michel Sabbah the Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem..
