As part of the organizational development goals outlined in the recently approved Strategic Plan 2025–2027, and in alignment with the Latin Patriarchate’s commitment to adopting an agile, technologically driven, effective, efficient, and sustainable operational model, the Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem (LPJ) has officially introduced its new Human Resources digital platform, in collaboration with Kayan HR, cloud-based HRM solution.
On December 12th, 2025, an introductory meeting was held at the LPJ Headquarters in Jerusalem, attended by Msgr. William Shomali, General Vicar, Mr. Sami El-Yousef, CEO, and directors of LPJ departments across the region, with some joining in person and others online. The meeting was led by Ms. Rawan Mansour, Director of Human Resources, and Mr. Omar Abu Heshish, representing the Kayan team. They presented the system’s key features and explained how it will impact employees procedures across all departments.
During the meeting, it was announced that the official launch will take effect in January 2026, when Kayan will fully replace the current HR and payroll mechanisms. Kayan has been designed to significantly enhance LPJ’s administrative and strategic capabilities. By digitalizing HR and payroll processes, the system reduces paperwork, minimizes manual errors, and supports informed, data-driven decision-making across departments. Its features contribute to a more transparent, responsive, and performance-oriented HR infrastructure that aligns with LPJ’s long-term institutional growth goals.
