Nicolawos Hazboun, the Multimedia Officer at the Media Office of the Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem, a Catholic Christian from Bethlehem, has been awarded a certificate from the Eternal Word Television Network (EWTN) following his successful completion of an intensive training program held at the Vatican "From July 21 to 31, 2025.

Over the course of ten days, Mr. Hazboun participated in a dynamic media experience alongside 45 Catholic journalists and content creators from around the world. The training covered journalistic writing, reporting, filming, media production, and the ethics of Catholic journalism, all guided by a team of professional Church media experts.
A highlight of the experience was his invitation to speak at a formal dinner hosted by the Sovereign Order of Malta in Rome. In his address, Mr. Hazboun shed light on the lived realities of Christians in the Holy Land, their steadfast faith, rich spiritual heritage, and the challenges they continue to face.

Additionally, Mr. Hazboun directed and produced an interview with Mr. Daniel Ibáñez, the official Vatican photographer, offering rare insights into the vocation of documenting the Pope’s life and the daily life of the Vatican through photography. “This project was a special opportunity to tell the story of someone who tells so many stories through image,” he said.
In an interview with EWTN, he expressed hope that the skills gained through the EWTN Summer Academy will help amplify the voices of the Christian community in Bethlehem and the entire Diocese of Jerusalem.
