Endowments
The Endowments Department is one of the essential and vital departments of the Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem. It is entrusted to manage the properties of the church which are defined according to the Personal Status Law as “all the properties owned by the Patriarchate”; including the properties allocated for pastoral services, or community service or income generation. Its major role includes, but not limited to, managing, safeguarding, developing, and utilizing these properties. The area of jurisdiction of the department includes Palestine, Israel, Jordan, and Cyprus.
