Bus attack in Egypt: The AOCTS sends condolences to Pope Tawadros II

STATEMENT – The Assembly of Catholic Ordinaries of the Holy Land sent condolences to Pope Tawadros following the bus attack which killed more than 20 Coptic Christians and injured dozens in the Minya Province in Egypt. Pope Tawadros II thanked the Assembly for the heartfelt letter sent for him and the families of the martyrs.

The Assembly also expresses its closeness to all victims of terrorism and raises its prayers so that God may enlighten the hearts of those who inflict harm and pain on others. We ask God to alleviate the suffering and pain of those who are afflicted and help them overcome the trauma of terrorism.
