Deacon Firas Abedrabbo ordained Latin Patriarchate priest in Beit Jala Available in the following languages:

BEIT JALA - On Saturday, June 27, 2020, H.E. Archbishop Pierbattista Pizzaballa, Apostolic Administrator of the Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem, presided over the priestly ordination of Deacon Firas Abedrabbo at Our Lady of the Annunciation Church in Beit Jala, who was surrounded by his family, friends, and faithful.

Bishop Boulos Marcuzzo, Latin Patriarchal Vicar for Jerusalem and Palestine con-celebrated the Mass, alongside Bishop Kamal Bathish, and a number of priests. Archbishop Leopoldo Girelli, the Apostolic Delegate in Jerusalem was present as well, H.B. Patriarch Michel Sabbah, and the Religious men and women.

At the end of the Mass, Fr. Abedrabbo extended his gratitude for everyone who accepted to be an instrument of God in his life and the life of the church. He thanked his parents, relatives, and priests who granted him the best upbringing and the blessings of being Christian. He also thanked all the priests, bothers, and sisters, who accompanied him in his ministry that resulted in his ordination.

On Sunday, June 28, 2020, Fr. Abedrabbo celebrated his first Mass at Our Lady of the Annunciation church in Beit Jala, where Fr. Hanna Massad the parish priest, and Fr. Peter Du Brul, his spiritual guide, concelebrated with him, in the presence of a number of priests, family members, parishioners and religious communities.
