November 26, 1981: Appointed titular bishop of Acque di Proconsolare

January 6, 1982: Episcopal Consecration in Rome by His Holiness Pope John Paul II, appointed Patriarchal Vicar for Jordan.

April 2011: Bishop Sayegh presents his resignation to Pope Benedict XVI
