Celebrating the anniversary of Rinnovamento nello spirito santo in Shepherds’ Field

On Monday morning, August 28th, 2023, His Beatitude Pierbattista Pizzaballa, Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem, presided over a Mass in Shepherds’ Field - Beit Sahour - to celebrate the anniversary of the community of the "Renewal in the Holy Spirit" (Rinnovamento nello spirito santo), who came from Italy on a pilgrimage trip.
In his homily, Mgr Pizzaballa likened every believer to a small piece of a puzzle game to emphasize that every member of the church has an important role that influences the formation and construction of the mystical body of Christ (the Church) here on earth. Because each has a special role to play and without it, the picture is not complete.
