Conferences held in Beit Sahour and Jerusalem to discover and learn about the Holy Land

On November 10th, 2022, Mgr Giacinto-Boulos Marcuzzo, bishop emeritus of the Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem, attended a lecture by Fr. Jean Baptiste Humbert, entitled “The Excavations of the Citadel of Amman”. This conference was part of the series called “Thursday lectures”, that resumed after a two-year interruption at the Ecole biblique et archéologique de Jérusalem.
A week later, on Friday, November 18th, 2022, Mgr Marcuzzo and Mgr Michel Sabbah, Patriarch emeritus, attended the 13th international Bethlehem conference held by Kairos Palestine, “A moment of Truth” in the conference room at the Grand Park Hotel, in Beit Sahour. The conference discussed the role of the Church in the Palestinian-Israeli crisis.
