On September 24th, 2022, the Union of Religious Superiors of Women in the Holy Land (known as the U.S.R.T.S. - Unione delle Superiore Religiose di Terra Santa) met in the Notre Dame of Jerusalem Center to reflect together on the identity and mission of religious life today, especially in relation to the local Church of Jerusalem. The topics discussed revolved around several main points: the reality of religious life today and the aspects to be worked on to help it develop and maintain its value, and the role to be played in the local Church, as well as the expectations and desires with regard to collaboration with that same Church.

The meeting, which was attended by His Beatitude Pierbattista Pizzaballa, Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem, Sr. Bruna Fasan, General President of the Union, and Fr. Marco Riva, Ecclesiastic Adviser for the Union, was supervised by Sr. Maria Pia, IVE, in charge of the Bet Afram Elderly Home in Taybeh.
