In the midst of many faithful and in a wonderful family and Christmas atmosphere, the Holy Family parish of Ramallah celebrated, on the evening of December 7th, the opening of the Christmas celebrations to prepare for the coming of Jesus Christ. Mgr William Shomali, Vicar General of the Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem, presided over the Mass of the Immaculate Conception vigil.
After the Mass concluded, the representative of the Municipality of Ramallah, religious representatives, sisters, parishioners and many others gathered in the courtyard of the church to see Mgr Shomali lit the Christmas tree. Afterward, he led a procession to the Pastoral Hall to inaugurate the Christmas Bazaar. It is worth mentioning that what distinguishes this bazaar is its pastoral and charitable dimension, focusing mainly on the poor, the children and the elderly, to share the joy of Christmas with all.
