On September 8th, 2022, the Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem celebrated the feast of the Nativity of Mary in Beit Hanina, in the church of the Rosary Sisters. The Mass, presided over by Mgr William Shomali, General Vicar, was attended by the Christian students of the Sisters' school in Beit Hanina. Under the direction of two Rosary Sisters, they animated the celebration by singing throughout the Mass.
The day was a special occasion not only for the feast of the Nativity of Mary, but also for Therese Daniel, a young postulant of the Rosary Sisters, who put on the religious habit for the first time during the Mass, to the applause of her family, her sisters and all the students of the school. Mgr Shomali used the opportunity to speak about vocation in his homily, stating that vocations were not only about priests and sisters, but that everyone was called to different vocations, and that all should try, through these personal vocations, to reach holiness.
