During the week of April 24th, a small team from the Réseau Barnabé, a national coordination network promoting bonds between French Catholic schools and Christian schools in the Holy Land, visited five schools of the Patriarchate in the district of Ramallah, in order to become familiar with and better understand the context in which these partner schools operate, as well as the challenges they face. Composed of six teachers and directors of French Catholic schools and institutions, the team also had the opportunity to meet with 23 teachers and volunteers from the schools of Aboud, Birzeit, Taybeh, Jifna and Ain Arik, Zababdeh, Ramallah and Beit Jala.

According to Mrs. Alice de Rambuteau, in charge of public relations for the network, this visit allowed the Réseau Barnabé to witness “the vitality and increased willingness” of the staff of the Latin Patriarchate schools after two years of pandemic, as well as their “desire to transmit” and their “curiosity for other personalities in education”. The Réseau Barnabé thanked the staff and all the Latin Patriarchate schools, for their welcome, renewing their will to continue this partnership between France and the Holy Land.
