Workshop for the choirs of the Latin Patriarchate

On Sunday, November 20th, the Liturgical Office of the Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem organized a workshop in Ramallah for all the choirs of the different Palestinian parishes of the Holy Land. Mgr Giacinto-Boulos Marcuzzo, bishop emeritus, attended the event along with 40 other participants from different cities, which included: Jerusalem, the Bethlehem region, Ramallah, Birzeit, Jifna, Aboud, Nablus, Zababdeh, Jenin, Jericho and Nazareth.
The program included:
- Statistics and analysis of the status of the Palestinian choirs, presented by Dr. Yara Al-Nimri via Zoom
- A brainstorming session
- A lecture by Fr. AzizHalaweh entitled “The identity and role of the choir leader and the Musicians”
- Adiscussion about the present state and future of the choirs
- Training about the methods to use to conduct choirs
