The parish of St George the Martyr is located in Northern Jordan, in the Governorate of Irbid, with a population of one million. It is located 70 kms. north of Amman, the capital and 25 kms. from the border with Syria.
Infrastructures of the Latin Patriarchate
The Latin parish has about 150 families, a significant number that requires more infrastructure to support the healthy development of activities for everyone. There are several youth groups that include altar servers, a branch of Caritas, and a school run by the Rosary Sisters. Parish committees meet and larger gatherings bring together the entire community that required more spacious rooms for these occasions.
