JERUSALEM – The Assembly of Catholic Ordinaries of the Holy Land thanks Father Arturo Vasaturo, OFM, for his work as National Director of the Pontifical Mission for the Holy Land. He is succeeded by Father Abdo Abdo, OCD.
Dear Fr. Arturo,
After several years of continued, generous service and dedication as National Director of the Pontifical Mission for the territories of the Assembly of Catholic Ordinaries, the Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples asks you to handover the “baton” to your successor, Father Abdo Abdo, OCD.
For the past five years, you have served the missions with love and passion, and the Catholic Ordinaries of the Holy Land are grateful to you, especially –
– for your enthusiasm and perseverance in raising the awareness of our people to the catholicity of the Church,
– for your fund-raising initiatives and efforts that assured the completion of a project for a local Church in need, in the Holy Land.
May I request you to hand over the responsibility of the office to Fr. Abdo Abdo, OCD, who succeeds you as National Director of the Pontifical Mission for the Holy Land.
Thank you, Father Arturo, for all that you have done for the Pontifical Missions in the Holy Land. May the Lord reward you with His graces.
