HOLY LAND - Below you find the prayer prepared this week by the Sisters of St. Joseph of the Apparition, on the occasion of the start of the new academic year 2021- 2022.

"Lord God master of our history,

At the beginning of this scholastic year, we entrust to you all the teachers, fill each one with your Holy Spirit so that they can be a living reflection of your Light and your Love. Make them accompany all the students in their learning, their experiences, their successes and their challenges so that they become the best people they can be. May they be overflowing with enthusiasm, patience, love and wisdom to inspire every student to reach their full potential and develop their talents.

We also entrust to you all the students that they are committed to their learning and that they can flourish and experience academic, cultural and spiritual success.

And may they grow in wisdom, in stature, and in grace, before God and before men.

This school year is marked by the pandemic with its many consequences. By your grace, may all teachers stand in solidarity with one another, under your benevolent gaze, so that they allow each student to live a year filled with success, joy, and health.

Bless this school year! We pray to you with confidence. Amen!"

The Religious Families of the Holy Land, in collaboration with the Pastoral Office of the Latin Patriarchate, share a weekly prayer with the faithful that tackles a pertinent theme. The intention can be included in the prayer of the faithful (also in Vespers or Lauds).
