Solemn Entry and first Pontifical Mass for Patriarch Pierbattista Pizzaballa in Jerusalem Available in the following languages:
JERUSALEM - His Beatitude Patriarch Pierbattista Pizzaballa, new Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem, will make his Solemn Entry to the Cathedral of the Holy Sepulchre, on Friday, December 4, 2020, at 2:00 pm. Therefore, the Patriarchate invites the faithful to join the ceremony, as the procession will leave the Latin Patriarchate at 1:30 pm.
For his first Pontifical Mass, it is scheduled on Saturday, December 5, 2020, at 10:00 am at the Holy Sepulchre. The procession will leave the Latin Patriarchate at 9:30 am.
Both the Solemn Entry and first Pontifical Mass ceremonies will be broadcast live on the Facebook pages of the Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem and the Christian Media Center.
