Solemnity of Mary, Queen of Palestine and opening of General Synod: October 30, 2021
INVITATION - The Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem and the Catholic Ordinaries of the Holy Land cordially invite the faithful to the Sanctuary of Deir Rafat for the Solemnity of the Virgin Mary, Queen of Palestine. The Eucharistic celebration with His Beatitude Patriarch Pierbattista Pizzaballa and the Catholic Ordinaries of the Holy Land will take place on Saturday, October 30, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. on the occasion of the opening ceremony of the diocesan phase of the General Synod of the Catholic Church and will be followed by the traditional procession with the Icon of the Virgin Mary, Queen of Palestine.
The Mass and procession will be broadcast on the websites and social media platforms of the Latin Patriarchate and the Christian Media Center.
