Spiritual evening of the Christian youth for the canonization of Charles de Foucauld Available in the following languages:

NAZARETH - Under the patronage of Mgr Rafic Nahra, Patriarchal Vicar for Israel, recently ordained bishop in Nazareth, and in cooperation with several religious orders, a spiritual evening entitled "Jesus, Master of the Impossible" was held on the occasion of the canonization of Charles de Foucauld, with the participation of a group of youth groups from Galilee.

This evening, which was presided by Fr. Ramez Twal, responsible for the youth in Israel, included the presentation of a video focusing on the life of Charles de Foucauld, who lived in Nazareth and left a significant impact on the life of the local community.

After listening to the Holy Gospel with Fr. Zaher Aboud, Mgr Rafic Nahra presented a spiritual meditation; then, afterward, priests, nuns, and laypeople gave life testimonies of their consecration calls. Among the participants were the little brothers and sisters of Jesus, whose congregation and charism are inspired by the life of Charles de Foucauld.

The evening concluded with a revival of prostration to the Blessed Sacrament, to give thanks to God Almighty for His constant presence with us and for the birth of a new saint for us on the altars of the Lord.

Many thanks to all who attended, participated, and meditated during the evening!
