On Monday April 1st 2024, H.B. Card. Pierbattista Pizzaballa, Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem, presided over a Mass at Emmuas for the feast-day of Saints Cleopas and Simeon who met Jesus on the way to Galilee. Concelebrating was Mgr. William Shomali, General Vicar, Mgr. Rafiq Nahra, Patriarchal Vicar of Galilee, and Mgr Bolous Marcuzzo, as well as several priests and the Seminarists. Their eyes were opened as once Jesus broke the bread with them. “Were not our hearts burning" (Luke 24:32) they said, when he was talking with them on the road.
